    Written instructions will follow:
    1: Pre heat a fan oven to 100C or 220F
    2: Grind herbs until medium to fine
    3: Place herbs in ceramic dish and cover with foil.
    4: Place the dish into the oven for 30-40 minutes.
    5: Prepare the solution use a ratio of 8ml liquid to 1g herb for a low strength, 5ml of liquid for a medium strength
    6: Use 7 parts Vegetable Glycerine to 3 parts Propylene glycol
    7: Remove herbs from the oven and allow to cool before removing foil
    8: Place herbs into mason jar containing solution and mix well.
    9: Place jar into hot water bath and shake/swirl every 15-20 minutes.
    10: Continue this for 2-3 hours.
    11: Keep lid on for the entire process.
    12: Once the time is done, remove from the heat and allow the jar to cool until you can handle it safely.
    13: Place contents of the jar into material, and then proceed to squeeze out the liquid. You can use a potato/rice press, fine sieve, cheese cloth to help with this process.
    14: Collect liquid with syringes and place into the dropper bottles.
    15: Add any flavourings your might want to add (optional)
    16: Enjoy end product, store in a cool – dark place and use in any e-cigarette you wish. Product will last up to 12 months.

    Move over root beer float…there’s a new float in town! Louise shares her amazing recipe for a chocolate stout float with homemade peanut butter ice cream and chocolate dipped pretzels. WOW! It’s rich, creamy, decadent and definitely a whole new way to enjoy a float!

    Chocolate Stout Float with Peanut Butter Ice Cream and a Chocolate Peanut Pretzel

    Serves 4

    Ingredients:

    For the Ice Cream:

    1 cup creamy peanut butter
    2/3 cup sugar
    1 cup whole milk
    2 cups heavy cream
    1 tsp vanilla

    For the Pretzels:

    Pretzel Rods
    12 oz. dark chocolate
    1 cup salted peanuts, chopped

    40 oz. chocolate stout, such as Rogue Chocolate Stout or Young’s Double Chocolate Stout

    Procedure:

    Freeze the bowl of your ice cream maker. This usually takes a full day in the freezer to ensure that it is cold enough for making ice cream.

    Combine the peanut butter and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat until smooth, about 1 minute. Add in the milk and beat for another 2-3 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. Make sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing bowl so that all the peanut butter and sugar is fully incorporated with the milk. Add the heavy cream and vanilla and mix just to combine. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.

    Pour the ice cream base into the frozen ice cream maker bowl. Process until the ice cream has thickened, about 20 minutes. Pour into a freezer safe vessel and freeze for a minimum of 2 hours.

    For the pretzels, heat the chocolate either in the microwave or over a double boiler until it is melted. Do not stir until melted or the chocolate will be grainy. Dip the pretzel rod into the chocolate and then into the peanuts and place on a wax paper-lined sheet pan. Continue until all the pretzels are coated. Let the pretzels set for at least 30 minutes.

    To make the float, place a few scoops of ice cream in a glass. Pour the beer into the glass, making sure to hold the glass at an angle so the beer doesn’t foam up. Garnish with a chocolate peanut pretzel and enjoy!
